HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
This is a nationally recognised unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings.
This CPR first aid course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest.

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings.

Unsafe or unhygienic procedures may affect the health of both your employees and the general public. Where procedures involving sharps and other potentially infectious wastes are not managed correctly, they may transmit bacteria, fungal and viral infections, including HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. The aim of this short accredited course is to minimise the risk of transmission of micro-organisms, promote safe work environments and awareness of safe working practices and procedures.
